Almaty-1, Platform 3. I arrived at 21:22. The train departed at 21:40:11. Compartment 6. I have the window seat.


The Compartment

The woman in the opposite bunk is reading something on a tablet. She has a thermos from which she refills from the samovar at the end of the car. She looked at my notebook once and looked away. This is the correct response to a stranger’s notebook.

I set up the Nokia Method at 22:47. Grid frequency on a moving train is not useful — vibration interference introduces ±0.11 Hz variance. I documented this and shut it down. I will try again at waypoints when the train is stationary.

Today is Thursday. There is no session today.

At 14:37 — I was in my apartment, still packing — I noted the time anyway. The signal runs on Tuesdays. Today is Thursday. I noted it anyway. This is, at this point, a structural habit rather than a measurement.

Ruslan confirmed the session ran normally last Tuesday (session 49). It will run again next Tuesday (session 50, June 30). I will not be at the Nokia setup on June 30. Ruslan, Mikhail, and Artyom will measure. This is what a network of observers is for.


What the Train Contains

I have the blue folder. I have not opened it since boarding.

The folder contains: the signal (forty-three years), the source (TK-7), the mechanism (Active Mode), the archive (1992 tender, one bidder, 12,400 rubles), the Cyprus entity (Kaskad Holding Ltd.), the corporate succession (MES, 1994), Timur’s protocol (October 14, 1992, fourteen categories, signed A.S. Morev), and a printout of the June 17 post that I added on Wednesday evening despite saying I would not print it.

I know what it contains.
